WIRES and the Midwestern Governors Association (MGA) are teaming up to co-host this webinar, which will be part of a series of webinars the MGA will host throughout 2021 to focus on energy issues of importance for the region.

The topic of this webinar is the recent FERC advanced notice of proposed rulemaking (ANOPR), FERC is seeking comment on the potential need for reforms or revisions to existing regulations to improve the electric regional transmission planning and cost allocation and generator interconnection processes. This information session will take a deeper look at the main issues at hand and explore what it could mean for the Midwest and the electric grid.
